We award scholarships each year to Korean students who are going on to attend college. Meetings are usually help the last Tuesday of each month during the school year, at 8:00 p.m. in Room 12101. Each month there are new meeting topics and speakers.
Latinos Unidos Parents' Association
Latinos Unidos welcomes everyone to participate in our educational and informative meetings held every fourth Monday of the month, from 6:00-8:00 p.m in room 12101. Program topics range from graduation requirements at Hoover High School to immigration and health issues. Topics are generated as a result of requests by those participating at the meetings. If there is a concern about safety on campus, then we will address it. If college entrance expenses are of interest, then that will be presented. We encourage you to share your concerns and ideas at our meetings. Informed parents and an informed community raise more successful children and help to create a better neighborhood here in Glendale. Our mission is to support our children, our community, and our schools. We are partners with the Hoover PTSA and the administation and teaching staff of Glendale schools, and we aim to bring people together. Our meetings are held in English and Spanish as needed. Again, Latinos Unidos welcomes everyone, regardless of language or ethnicity. See you soon in Room 12101 at Hoover every fourth Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
